Phillies commits another $100,000 to his campaign

The cat is out of the bag! Everyone who attended the PA/NJ Presidential debate got to be first to hear the announcement.

George Phillies has committed another $100,000 to his Presidential campaign. "If I win the nomination," he said, "I will invest a second hundred thousand dollars of my own money in my campaign."

Phillies was asked why Libertarians should believe that promise. After all, Libertarians have heard that line before. "The difference is that this is the second time I've made that commitment," Phillies answered. "And I kept the first one. I promised I would invest $100,000 in my nominating campaign. Check my FEC reports. I'm already at $80,000 toward that total."

P.S. To watch the debate, go to http://www.phillies2008.org and click on the USTREAM video. By the way, several Pennsylvanians conducted an informal straw poll after the debate. The numbers George was shown had George tied with Bob Jackson and 'undecided' in first place, and Christine Smith next.
